I am a PhD candidate in the lab studying tumor-microglia interactions in IDH-mutant gliomas WHO grade 4. I am interested in receptor-ligand engagement shaping tumor heterogeneity, potentially promoting progression and complicating treatment. Within the UNITE glioblastoma consortium (sfb1389) and the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) Heidelberg, I synergize with other groups to tackle cancer immune evasion and reprogram the tumor microenvironment to an anti-tumor state.
