My research focuses on the interactions between glioblastoma (GBM) and the tumor microenvironment, with a particular interest in recurrent GBM. To address this, I am developing a human organoid tumor transplantation model to investigate how microglia and astrocytes contribute to tumor adaptation, invasion, and therapy resistance. By combining this model with single-cell and spatial profiling approaches, I aim to uncover how these glial populations shape the recurrent GBM niche and identify potential therapeutic vulnerabilities within the tumor microenvironment.
